In fact twice in the last month I have born witness to UK plastic processors who have found themselves without supply of an essential material for their production process.
In the first case a customer had decided to move business from Plastribution to a competitor for a small cost saving. Whilst we were surprised that the customer called upon Plastribution rather than their new supplier to help them out, we did of course step up and make every effort to secure product to meet their requirement; it looks like our delivery will arrive just in the ‘nick of time’.
In the second case a potential customer was looking for help to source a material which was a vital ingredient in one of their product formulations. Happily a ‘I don’t suppose you can help’ turned into the supply of product to the customer’s requirement from our extensive stock holding.
This all puts me in mind of the following equation:
Value = Price + Service + Reliability
And I really hope that through our efforts we will now have two customers ‘in deed’ and our efforts have gone some way to justify the ‘Service’ and ‘Reliability’ elements of the ‘Value’ equation.
This is all part of our mission to become the preferred choice of UK plastic processors, so do give us a call and we will be pleased to help you.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][mk_custom_sidebar sidebar=”Blog”][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_twitter twitter_name=”plastribution” tweets_count=”1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
